The Adidas Samba was released in 1950 as an indoor football shoe, with
over 60 years since the release the Samba trainer has evolved from the
popular football trainer it once was into a fashionable choice of
footwear. Like the Adidas Gazelle the Adidas Samba is now a favoured
choice of footwear on the terraces among ‘football casuals’, a group of
football supporters looking to bring back the 80s look and atmosphere to
the game.Adidas Samba trainers have had a big impact on the world of footwear, being Adidas’ second most sold shoes ever, worldwide, causing new styles and colourway being released by Adidas. Despite the new styles the Adidas Samba preserves some of its original features including the recognised 3-stripe trademark which Adidas is known for.
